This book is a collection of profiles of outstanding individuals who happen to call Chicago home."Bright Lights," a collection of profiles, takes readers one-on-one with 50 of Chicago's most accomplished individuals. Like everyone else, they've experienced obstacles and setbacks, but their grit, commitment, and abiding sense of purpose kept them all focused on success. I wrote this book over four years and was fortunate enough to interview luminaries such as Capt. James Lovell, Broadcaster Bill Kurtis, Master Sommelier Alpana Singh and Nobel Prize-nominated Peace Activist Kathy Kelly.
